February 10 Meeting with Ken Tutalo
Ken Tutalo, is a fishing guide from the Baxter House, Roscoe, NY. Ken's presentation will be on Secrets of the Delaware's East Branch. Many of us have been been skunked on the East Branch a number of times, and we know there are a number of people who regularly catch really nice fish there, thanks to Ken.
Jack Johnson from the Legend Lodge, Alaska, will also be at our meeting from 7:00PM till start of the business meeting. He will talk about the Iliamna region of Alaska, explaining when and where to go, for what specie of fish. Jack will also mention facts about his lodge.
Fly Tying for Beginners and Intermediates
East Jersey volunteers teach fly tying at two locations: Clifton High School and Westbrook Middle School, Paramus.
Although classes began in Paramus on January 5, it's not too late for the sessions through March 16. Class meets on Tuesdays from 7:00pm-10:00pm.

Classes in Clifton will begin March 1 and will meet Monday nights from 7:00‐9:00PM. Registration will be on February 8 and 11 at Clifton High School which is located at 333 Colfax Avenue, Clifton. World Fishing and Outdoor Expo or "The Rockland Show"
EJTU will have a booth at the World Fishing and Outdoor Expo at the Rockland Community College Suffern NY, March 4 to 7. For details go to WWW.sportshows.com Our goal is to promote the education and conservation programs of the chapter, recruit membership, sell flies and raffle tickets for chapter fund raising, promote fly tying thrrough demonstrations and assist at the casting pond. During the show a video presentation of chapter activities will be presented.
Volunteers are requested for a minimum of 4 hours. However volunteers can help as long as they want to. Bagels and coffee will be provided for all volunteers as well as free exhibitor admission to the show. We need to maintain coverage for all show hours so volunteer some of your time for this rewarding event. Please call Basil Santamaria’s cel (201)747-0772 or e-mail Flyfishoutfitter@verizon.net. We also need fly donations for the show.
Vehicles and help to transport and set up the booth and merchandise are also needed. Setup is Wednesday evening March 3 and Thursday morning before opening time at 2:00 pm. Takedown is Sunday 5:00 pm at the close of the show. Show hours are: Thursday 2:00-9:0; Friday 1:00-9:00; Saturday 9:30-7:00 and Sunday 9:30 -5:00.
Looking for a Few Good Members
It's that time of year again when we begin looking for volunteers to become Board members. Anyone interested in a position on the Board of Directors should contact Doug Penna or any other Board member. Help is also needed to plan and organize the annual dinner. Volunteers should contact Ray Cappock.

Non-members interested in hearing our speakers are welcome. You don't need to be a member to attend any of our meetings. Check "meeting locations" for directions.
EJTU members are encouraged to bring non-members to our meetings so they may learn about us and hopefully be inclined to join. Members will receive ten points for each new member they get to sign up.
